One of the biggest problems of health systems in Nigeria is the lack of health care workers. Being Africa's most populous nation, Nigeria has a large population to cater too. Adequately skilled health care workers are not enough in the country. Measures are needed that will tap into the potentials of lower level health care workers and better equip them with skills and knowledge directly aimed at reducing the huge gap that the country is facing.
