The health system in Cameroon is completely poor as there are a lot of aspects where improvements need to be done.
Healthcare workforce. Health Care workforce in Cameroun is very limited as the training in most private institutions are not up to standard, many healthcare workers are moving our of the country in search of Greener pasture because of lack of employment and very low salary for those employed both in the public and private health care structures.
Governance. The public health governance in Cameroun is a disgrace as there is a lot of corruption and little of no supervision is being done in most healthcare facilities which makes quality of healthcare services poor and inequitably distributed.
Continue career education. The healthcare system of Cameroun don't encourage career development through continuous education of healthcare services providers. This makes the healthcare services provided outdated and not evidence based.
