In the Canary Islands, the top priority to improve human rights in reproductive health is to ensure universal and equitable access to quality services, including comprehensive sexual education and contraception. It is essential to remove cultural, economic, and informational barriers that limit individuals' autonomy to make decisions about their own bodies. Strengthening the training of healthcare professionals in respectful and culturally sensitive approaches is also crucial. Care should be accessible to everyone, including immigrants and vulnerable groups. Additionally, promoting active community participation and awareness of reproductive rights will help reduce inequalities and improve the population’s well-being.
