Nigeria's diverse population and technological landscape necessitate a multi-tiered approach to information access. This approach should cater to different user needs and technological capabilities.

  • Clinicians: Clinicians should have priority access to a robust Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This cloud-based system, accessible through secure logins on various devices (laptops, tablets), would provide comprehensive patient data. Additionally, policymakers could explore partnerships with international health organizations to provide access to global medical databases.

  • Policymakers: Policymakers would benefit from a data visualization dashboard. This web-based platform would use data analytics to present health trends, resource allocation information, and potential disease outbreaks in an easy-to-understand visual format. This would be crucial for informed decision-making.

  • Citizens:

    • SMS and USSD Services: Basic health information on common diseases, preventative measures, and nearest health facilities could be delivered through SMS text messages or USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) menus accessible on basic mobile phones. This caters to the large population with limited internet access.
